Enhance Your Well-Being with Ethically Sourced Products and Holistic Services in Liverpool

Ethical Policy

This ethical policy outlines our core values and aims to provide you with guidelines for the products we sell and the services we offer.

Here at Gemstone Tarot and Healing, we make every effort to ensure that the products we sell are ethically sourced and environmentally friendly.

Crystals

We are aware of the passionate debate ‘raping of the land‘ and we want to assure you that we do our very best to ensure our suppliers are sourced based on their ethical policy.

Our main supplier of crystals and rocks has personally visited his suppliers in Brazil, India, China, Madagascar and the USA and has never witnessed or heard any stories of unethical or exploitative practices. They purchase their crystals from uncapitalized individuals who extract crystals as their sole source of income, in areas where no other sources of income are available.

Gemstone Beads

My main supplier of gemstone products used for jewellery, obtain their products from established lapidaries, who comply with their own countries required safety and employment laws.

Although they are satisfied with the lapidaries they use, they cannot verify the source of stone used as their suppliers source rough from a wide variety of supply.

They source internationally, direct from manufacturers with whom they have developed close working relationships and have visited in their factories over the many years of business and they can vouch for the above, from their own enquiries.

.925 Sterling Silver Jewellery

My main supplier of .925 sterling silver support a small fair trade silversmith business based in Jaipur. They also recycle their old silver for new production with one of their chain manufacturers.

All silver is lead and nickel free and complies with EU regulations.

EU Regulation No 1907/2006 concerning Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulates the use of Nickel, Lead and Cadmium in jewellery products.

Entry 27 of Annex XVII of REACH concerns the EU Nickel Directive & requires compliance with British Standard BS EN 1811:2011+A1:2015

Goloka Seva Trust

We stock Goloka products because 100% of their proceeds goes to charitable activities like: –

  • The Akshaya Patra Foundation (mid day meals for under privileged children)
  • Education and vocational training for widows of Vrindavan in making incense and dhoop
  • Aiding poor students with scholorship
