My purpose for meditating with Carnelian, was to discover the root cause of my anxiety. Now I’m back in control thanks to my beautiful piece of Carnelian and the amendments I’ve made to my self-care routine.
Do you have a self-care routine?
Let me begin by telling you that it’s OK to not be OK!
Seriously, life is bloody difficult at this present moment in time and it’s no wonder that anxiety is on the rise. I’d also like to say that just because I’m a professional life coach, doesn’t mean that I don’t feel anxious, or get wrapped up in my own emotions.
It’s how we manage ourselves that’s important for our mental health and wellbeing.
Each morning I practice my self-care routine and the benefit of doing so allows me to build my inner strength. A good self-care routine will also help you to build your self-love, which often can be the root cause of our personal issues.
By adopting such a routine, you can keep a check on your emotions and how you’re feeling. Luckily for me, I knew that I had to do some additional work, hence my decision to meditate with a crystal.
Meditating with Carnelian told me so much about myself
I discovered a number of issues that I need to resolve. Luckily, they are easy to implement and I know that I will see the rewards.
As I was meditating with my piece of Carnelian, I purposefully visualised the crystal’s energy travelling to my root chakra, which is a good place to start.
I just couldn’t do it! Instead, I was strongly drawn to my sacral chakra.
It’s important that I’m guided by my intuition and I fully believe that where I initially thought my problem was, at my root chakra, I was mistaken. My anxiety is centred around my passion for life and creativity.
Upon reflection, I haven’t been creative lately. Instead I’ve been solely concentrating all of my efforts on trying to make an income. I’ve been neglecting to enjoy my life. I’ve pushed my creative outlet to one side and put all my effort into improving Gemstone, Tarot and Healing.
I’m passionate about crystals, tarot, making bracelets, creating artwork and singing, and dancing. All of these activities fill my heart with pleasure, yet I haven’t been doing them.
I realise now that I’ve lost my balance and I’ve allowed my fears to creep in. Furthermore, my self-care routine has become a chore. OUCH that realisation hurts me to publicly admit it let alone write it out!
It’s now time for me to review my self-care routine. I will incorporate what I love doing in order to express my creativity. Of course this will lead to lots of nurturing pleasure.

When I’m feeling overwhelmed, reaching for my Carnelian will provide me with the support I need.
Carnelian will help me regain my emotional balance so that I can see what I’m neglecting. If offers an edge of excitement while primarily soothing my emotions that allows me to regain perspective.
