Today’s Reiki journal is titled Spirit Guidance due to a woman in spirit who stood by me wanting to help me with Reiki.
This update is remarkable on so many levels, but it shows the importance of speaking with your client following a Reiki treatment.
As a Reiki practitioner, you should always trust in your intuition, and I realise that this is something that comes with experience. During this particular session, I had a strong urge to give Reiki to her shoulders. Following the session, my client told me how she had been having pain in her left shoulder. However, I digress from the most important revelation of today’s Reiki experience.
The more you practice Reiki either for yourself or for clients, the stronger it becomes. Lately, I get such a strong energy of nurturing for both new and existing clients.
Spirit Guidance
As my Reiki Master instilled in me, always ask your client the following…
- What did you see?
- What did you hear?
- What did you feel?
It was during our conversation that my client revealed that while I was standing at her side, a woman was standing to my left. She was wanting to help me with Reiki, but my partner Mark came in and told her that I don’t need any help. He then opened a door and asked her to leave, which she did.
Well?
Where do I start with this?
I always believe that I have spiritual guidance when I’m performing Reiki and it’s not the first time that I’ve written about my experiences.
Firstly, I have no door in my unit within St John’s Market. I have a curtain to make my treatment space private. Secondly, Mark did not enter my unit at any point during the Reiki. Thirdly, when I was moving from her solar plexus chakra to her sacral chakra, I felt a feather stroke on my left arm.
I’ve previously written about feeling a feather sensation and that my intuition tells me that it’s a sign from my spirit guides. It’s a sign to show me that I’m doing well. Perhaps as she’s being asked to leave, she gave me her reassurance? Therefore, maybe she was providing me with guidance.
I would love to say that I did feel her presence, but I didn’t. When my client described her, she doesn’t sound familiar to me either.
It does show that my relaxation technique is getting better and better. It is something that I’ve been working on, and it does enhance my Reiki.
As for my client, she commented on how powerful the relaxation was. Of course, she could have been dreaming, or in a hypnotic trance, which isn’t that surprising as we all often do this.
I love Reiki!
